FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...
You have questions, we have answers. And if not, we'll make something up on the fly. Or just read below, and if you're still confused, just hit us up HERE.
Do you take reservations?
Yes! However, reference our calendar of events and gamedays to see what’s going on at Field House DC as we are not open every day.
Can I bring a bunch of friends for a private party?
We know you party hard, so do we. Birthday Party, Bachelorette/Bachelor Party, Wedding, or Corporate Fiesta, send us a smoke signal to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are ready to book your event, please click here.
No cover here friends! We do host private events though, so check out our event page and social media channels to see if we have a cover for access or closed for a private event.
I don't drink , what will I do in the venue?
It’s cool, if your preggo, laying off the sauce because you told your friends, “I’m never drinking again!”, or you just want to drink an ice cold Coke we got you covered. La Croix is so damn good we always have it stocked along with a broad selection of non-alcoholic beverages to soothe kids and teetotalers. It’s super fun to watch your friends get drunk and secretly video tape them getting loose.
I have dietary restrictions...will there be anything for me at Field House DC?
Not a problem!. Please notify our crew about any serious allergies.
Can I bring my screaming obnoxious kids?
Damn right you can. On a day-to-day basis we keep our venue friendly for parents to bring kiddos with plenty of non-soda beverages available for tikes along with some food options any kid can scarf down. Not all events are super kid-friendly, so make sure to check our schedule. I mean a beer festival might not be the best idea for a little one.
I get you're kid-friendly, but we’re millennial parents and are at the we got a dog” stage of life. Is my fur-child welcome too?
We were all there once young grasshoppers, kids are coming soon enough. If you don’t bring your dog, shame on you. Woof woof - we love Pups but you best damn keep your dog on a leash at all time. If your dog is a Cujo (you know who you are) and your dog doesn’t play nice with others of the canine or human variety, leave them at home with a Xanax. We ain’t got time for that.
Do you accept vertical and foreign IDs? I'm too lazy to get your new ID, but I swear I'm 21?
We not only card hard we love taking Fake ID’s. Our crew always serves responsibly and a large part of that is ensuring that every guest who is enjoying an adult beverage is 21 or older. Foreign ID’s are welcome but we must be able to read numeric birth date on a state issued ID card. Each state has different procedures when exchanging vertical IDs, standard procedure in the US is vertical ID’s are for people Under 21, horizontal ID’s are for cool adults that can drink. Let’s leave it at this, if we have any reasonable doubt you aren’t 21, you won’t be drinking at Field House DC. If you only have a vertical ID, you are welcome to use a valid passport or military ID as form of identification. We do not accept any other forms of ID, so please plan ahead.
Rain, rain, go away, how do I find out if you're open during crappy weather?
Follow us on Instagram and Facebook, real time updates on closures are posted there assuming our iPhones weren't ruined in the rain. We have some areas of shelter on site, but always come prepared for mother nature, if you don’t, we’ll have a ridiculously overpriced yellow poncho to sell you.
You’ve answered none of my questions, please HELP me.
Chill good friend, we’re smart folk and can probably help. Shoot us an email and one of our pets who man the computers will email you back, no joke. Email: email@example.com
What are my transportation options?
Fear not, we have a handy dandy map coming your way soon - check out our CONTACT page for walking directions. Until then, our recommendation is to plug 1901 First Street SW, Washington, DC into your Google Maps or rideshare app and get your butt down here. Alternatively, you can to take the Metro’s infamous Green line to the Waterfront or Navy Yard stations and burn some calories walking to us - it's about a 10 min walk. We’re across the street from Audi Field (it’s a GIANT soccer stadium that you cannot miss), the new home to D.C. United. If you can’t find us with all of today’s smart technology, please let us know, because you probably shouldn’t be drinking at our establishment. If you would like to drive there is limited street parking throughout the neighborhood and a few parking lots to leave your whip (see the contact page for more details). That said, we encourage rideshare to the neighborhood – use the address for 1901 First Street SW, WDC for the best drop-off location.
Can I book a watch party with you?
Hells to the YES!! We love to par-tay! Give us a shout at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can put on our planning party hats with you.
And let's be clear - these are not made to be broken.
Practice common sense.
Don’t be an A-Hole to our staff, our neighbors, or other patrons.
We’re cashless - credit cards only will be accepted.
You must have a hand stamp to order an adult libation.
No vertical IDs - we do accept passports and military IDs.
No outside food or beverage. No exceptions.
Don’t smoke or vape around others unless you’re in our designated smoking areas.
Keep your dog on leashes, always. And make sure they get a lot of water if they're sitting in the hot sun.
Enjoy yourself and have fun. We promote a safe and respectful environment for all, regardless of what bathroom you pee in, who you love, or if you're a Ravens fan. Writing that last bit hurt a little, but we stand by it. Everyone is welcome.
